// Remade dress//

Boy, I got some skills. Saturday started off good: visited a flea market, remade this dress. But then Bayern München lost Champions League and I went to bed.

// Remade skirt//

Instead of focusing on dinner, I did this.

// Let there be light//

Bought a couple of second hand stuff today. This lamp was one of those things. My kitchen is now ridiculous cozy. These two chairs are btw very typical Swedish design. Just like the blue dalecarlian horse in the background.

// Cosy cardigan and a challenge//

I haven’t bought a single new article of clothing since October (unless you count my boots). Only second hand. Feels pretty good. I got this for 150 kr (16 Euro, 21$) and it’s been keeping me warm during these chilly days in Uppsala/Sweden.

Is someone btw up for a challenge? A challenge that forbids you to buy anything unless it’s an article on consumption, like toothpaste, shampoo, soap, medicine and so on. The challenge will last during whole February (hey, remember it’s a short month). Or at least to see how long you can last without buying anything during that month.

Who’s with me?

// Snowflakes//

It’s been snowing the whole day and it feels like it could be minus 30 degrees Celsius but it’s only minus 13. Tomorrow, however, it will be minus 19 and I will for sure stay inside the whole day.

Luckily I’ve prepared myself with a nice warm wool sweater I bought from a second hand store for 5 euros (7$). I also have some nice green chai, so I can make chai latte (without frozen fingers) to make tomorrow even more cosy.

Cause that’s exactly how Sweden is right now, everything is just “lagom” cosy.

// Weed out | Ausmerzen//

I’ve been inspired by other people’s green lifestyle, especially when it comes to the term minimalism. I know, it can sound a bit too extraordinary, but it’s not like I’m gonna live with only a few things, I’m just simply throwing out things that I haven’t been using for over a year or don’t like anymore.

The result was two IKEA bags full of clothing that I don’t want or need and I’m gonna give it to a second hand store here in Uppsala (but first I’ll ask my sister if she wants something).

It’s strange to say, but it feels like a big relief to give this stuff away. Not only have I now more space in my wardrobe but I also even found old clothes that I, for some reason, had put away, but will now reuse/remake them. It’s a win-win.

// Second hand comes first//

I went to a second hand store today. Thought I would finally give it an honest try for once. I’ve been there before, but never find anything cause I didn’t think they were good enough. This time though I saw potential from the clothes I looked at and I bought myself two warm sweaters.Together they costed 250 kr/25 euro/35$
