// Merry Green Christmas//

There’s absolutely no snow outside. For a Swede that means a lot. Christmas is supposed to be white, not like any other day in April.

Oh well, it’s still gonna be a nice evening, I’ll be celebrating with my family at my sisters house, eating lots and lots of vegetarian holiday food (that I cooked). No Christmas ham for me.

This is usually how we celebrate Christmas:
- meet around 2pm.
- eat some lunch and have a coffee break (fika).
- watch Donald Duck at 3pm (every Swede does it).
- prepare Christmas dinner.
- eat Christmas dinner until you’re about to throw up.
- eat some more.
- open Christmas gifts.
- eat rice pudding.
- eat some Christmas snack.
- go to bed.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GOD JUL!

// The holiday begins: now!//

I’m done. I’m finally done with school for this year. It has been so much to do this semester, that I haven’t gotten the time to take time for my hobbies. But now I’m back (for the moment) and the first thing I did, was to take pictures. I’ve missed it.

// The vacation: what happened?//

  • mum managed to buy expensive foie gras (goose liver) in France
  • learned that fresh goat cheese mixed with sugar is delicious
  • dad whined like a baby, when he got stung by a bee
  • 26 degrees (78 Fahrenheit) felt very cold when you’ve gotten used to 32 Celsius (89 Fahrenheit)
  • started to dislike Dutch
  • realized that every Dutchman is super tall, skinny and blond
  • we drove 300 km (186 miles) to buy some stupid, smelly, French cheese
  •  Speedos are not always bad, at least not when the guys are young, hot and pumped
  • bought so much wine, that I don’t have to put my foot in the liquor store for a whole year
  • people playing music 4 am made me wanna go ‘effin mayhem on them all
  • some people almost burned down the camping we stayed at in Spain. They disappeared the next day
  • learned some words in Catalan
  • failed learning French though

// Two days to go//

And then I’m off for four weeks, yeay! Let me hear me say woop woop!
I’m just gonna post a bunch of pictures from old camping days, that probably only I will appreciate, but I don’t give a shit that you don’t care, I’m too happy right now!

At a parking lot outside Hamburg. Dad’s taking a nap.

Me taking a nap. It’s a hard life when you go camping -not-

At a camping somewhere in Poland, with typical polish apartments in the background.

In Prague.

Things you can do when you’re bored:dance

Right by the German north coast.

I don’t know what you’re calling this place in English, but it’s ‘das Moseltal’

And finally the beautiful La Garda lake in Italy. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited.
