My new home
I’ve finally gotten my address in Berlin. Storkower straße: that’s my new home for four months, but I won’t move in until the end of march. It seems I’m gonna live with two other girls and we’ll share kitchen and bathroom. Plus, it’s only about 3 km away from the university. This is fucking awesome. Me happy.

Spoiled
I have to go to a lecture today. The only school-related thing I have to do within these two months I have of free time. That sucks! I’m so spoiled with time right now. Too spoiled.

I can't sew okay
It has taken me about 1.5 year to finish this gawd damn skirt, but I finally finished it today. Just to realize I did it to small. Fuck. My sister will probably be happy when I tell her I’ve a skirt for her.

Bologna process sucks
Now I really understand why Germans hate the Bologna process. It’s suppose to make things easier, like similar academic grades in every EU-country, but it doesn’t.  For example, if you compare academic courses in Sweden and Germany you’ll find a big different between the credit points you get. When I studied in Dresden/Germany, I took five courses in German studies and got 30...

Naaw thanks! The picture is from this night (it’s actually Saturday now) but a shower would actually be quite necessary soon. Still nice to hear I look pretty even if I feel like shit (the wine is helping though)

A tired update
- have a headache - need a glass of red wine - a shower would be nice - and some aspirin - need to sleep - hungry - would pay anyone for a massage over and out.

epicwinsauce: anywherebutsweden: See! You would fit perfectly in Sweden! Except you wouldn’t like the winter =P Oh gods, no, not with 7 months of winter!!! ahah. Maybe I would fit in a warmer Sweden. Maybe if Swedes moved to a warmer climate, say, GERMANY, ‘twould be perfect for me! haha! Well, the south of Sweden is pretty warm. They usually have one month less of winter then we have....

Four seasons
I do like living in Sweden even though I sometimes wish I would live in Germany. I specially like that we have four evident seasons. I mean, our summer is warm, the fall has colorful trees, winter is cold with lots of snow and spring is fairly mild. However, last year was a bit weird. We had like seven months of winter, one week of spring that quickly turned into three months of summer. Today...

Making a choice
On Friday I’m about to choose the courses I want to take in Berlin. It will probably be a mix of history and cultural science. However, I’m gonna try to convince my coordinator that I don’t have to take 30 ECTS-points, because to collect that many in Germany forces you to do hella lot of things, a lot more than what a Swede is used to do (or maybe we’re just lazy). If she...

Cosy cardigan and a challenge
I haven’t bought a single new article of clothing since October (unless you count my boots). Only second hand. Feels pretty good. I got this for 150 kr (16 Euro, 21$) and it’s been keeping me warm during these chilly days in Uppsala/Sweden. Is someone btw up for a challenge? A challenge that forbids you to buy anything unless it’s an article on consumption, like toothpaste,...

Question time?!
It would be fun to get to know my dear followers a bit more instead of just knowing your tumblrnames. So, if you would like to, then you can write anything about yourself. Anything. Who are you?

Stupid bureaucracy
“Dear students, you applied for a room in the dormitory. Unfortunately your dates of Arrival and Departure doesn’t fit to the dates of moving in or out in the dormitory. Please let me know the time you want to apply for until latest *21.01.2011.” Why didn’t they tell us that a little bit earlier, like in November, the time I actually sent my application!!! Gaaaah!

Kick ass
We gave constructive criticism to each other’s essays in class today and I kicked ass! Not only did I a good job acting as opponent but they also found my essay really good and interesting. Now I can finally relax and never think about my essay again. So my current semester will officially be over on Friday, and you know what that means right? NO SCHOOL for about two months, until I go to...

What happened? Winter is what happened! It’s impossible to bike in this kind of  weather, for real. The snow started to melt during the day just to freeze over again during the evening, which creates roads of ice and bumps. So that’s why I had to drag the bike the whole way home =(

Homemade dip
To make one yourself is simply the best (and the most tastiest). What I use: Sour cream Mayonnaise Cayenne pepper Chili powder Paprika powder Any BBQ spice Salt and pepper Mix them all together depending on how you like it (it should be more sour cream than mayonnaise though). And if you can, use as much organic products as possible.

Fishy eye
I got to play with a fish eye lens yesterday for a couple of hours. How fun isn’t a fish eye! The camera takes really cool pictures. So this is my bedroom and kitchen. Kinda Swedish I would say.  PS. No, I never clean my kitchen. I got better things to do.

Retarded weather
It’s a Class One Warning-weather as we say here in Sweden. That’s the first level, which isn’t so bad (it’s bad if it’s level 3), it’s just shitload of snow outside and if you do go outside, you’ll soon look like a snowman. I really need to go buy myself some food too. Can’t say I’m that excited. I’m mean, just look at that shitload of...

Awesome chair
Look at this chair. Just look.at.it. Look how it’s just pouring of awesomeness. You know why it’s awesome? Because I made it awesome! Just a few days ago this was a butt ugly chair, but I remade it and simply made it awesome. Awesome like a boss. It’s simple as that. Deal with it.

German fever
I have the German fever. With that I mean I’m starting to focus more on Germany than normally. I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent checking up apartments to rent in Berlin, looking up second hand stores, trying to find out how many credit points I’ll get when I’m there, learning where the different neighborhoods are and so on. I even watched Keinohrhasen the other...

First day of 2011
Did you too have a snowy New Year’s Eve? It was quite a new experience to mix champagne with snowflakes. I can only say, I hope 2011 will be just a good (or better) as 2010. I’m sure it will be, especially when I know I’ll spend four months of this year in Berlin.
