My new home
I’ve finally gotten my address in Berlin. Storkower straße: that’s my new home for four months, but I won’t move in until the end of march. It seems I’m gonna live with two other girls and we’ll share kitchen and bathroom. Plus, it’s only about 3 km away from the university.
This is fucking awesome. Me happy.
Spoiled
I have to go to a lecture today. The only school-related thing I have to do within these two months I have of free time. That sucks!

Bologna process sucks
Now I really understand why Germans hate the Bologna process. It’s suppose to make things easier, like similar academic grades in every EU-country, but it doesn’t.
For example, if you compare academic courses in Sweden and Germany you’ll find a big different between the credit points you get.

Four seasons
I do like living in Sweden even though I sometimes wish I would live in Germany. I specially like that we have four evident seasons. I mean, our summer is warm, the fall has colorful trees, winter is cold with lots of snow and spring is fairly mild.
However, last year was a bit weird. We had like seven months of winter, one week of spring that quickly turned into three months of summer.

Making a choice
On Friday I’m about to choose the courses I want to take in Berlin. It will probably be a mix of history and cultural science. However, I’m gonna try to convince my coordinator that I don’t have to take 30 ECTS-points, because to collect that many in Germany forces you to do hella lot of things, a lot more than what a Swede is used to do (or maybe we’re just lazy).

Cosy cardigan and a challenge
I haven’t bought a single new article of clothing since October (unless you count my boots). Only second hand. Feels pretty good. I got this for 150 kr (16 Euro, 21$) and it’s been keeping me warm during these chilly days in Uppsala/Sweden.

Kick ass
We gave constructive criticism to each other’s essays in class today and I kicked ass! Not only did I a good job acting as opponent but they also found my essay really good and interesting. Now I can finally relax and never think about my essay again.

Yes, that’s my only consolation for now. Thank god for that country!
What happened? Winter is what happened! It’s impossible to bike in this kind of weather, for real. The snow started to melt during the day just to freeze over again during the evening, which creates roads of ice and bumps. So that’s why I had to drag the bike the whole way home =(

Homemade dip
To make one yourself is simply the best (and the most tastiest).
What I use: Sour cream Mayonnaise Cayenne pepper Chili powder Paprika powder Any BBQ spice Salt and pepper
Mix them all together depending on how you like it (it should be more sour cream than mayonnaise though). And if you can, use as much organic products as possible.

Fishy eye
I got to play with a fish eye lens yesterday for a couple of hours. How fun isn’t a fish eye! The camera takes really cool pictures. So this is my bedroom and kitchen. Kinda Swedish I would say.

I have the German fever. With that I mean I’m starting to focus more on Germany than normally. I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent checking up apartments to rent in Berlin, looking up second hand stores, trying to find out how many credit points I’ll get when I’m there, learning where the different neighborhoods are and so on.
